Greetings!

I hope you’ve had a pleasant Valentine’s Day. I sure did.

On Feb 9th, I performed my very first show for the year of 2008 at California School for the Deaf, Fremont. They were hosting an African American awareness day at their school where parents of African American deaf students came together to discuss/socialize/etc. Since I was on a break from the show (Nov to Feb), I have had an opportunity to develop three new materials that I fleshed out at CSDF. I thought I did pretty well and as usual, we didn’t take any pictures of the show. You would think I ought to hire photographer! :) BUT! I did take a picture of us basking under the sun on the middle of CSDF campus. Who could blame us? All we got here in New England is snow storm, sleet rain, and frozen windows!!

The minute we returned back to New England, we were tempted to relocate to California just because of their weather. :)

Nonetheless, I know a lot of you have been asking about The Rosa Lee Show DVD. We are still working feverishly on it and hope to release it by the end of May. *cross fingers* We’ll be making our announcement via our new website when its being launched. Keep checking us out!

On a final note, I want to thank the folks at CSDF for making my first show of 2008 a memorable one. The audience was awesome! I had a lot of fun. It was also wonderful to receive such complimentary and thoughtful comments from the CSDF students and few prominent deafies/codas such as Ella Mae Lentz and Sherry Hicks. It was something.

Now, its off to Alabama I go. I hope to see you there!

Hugs,
Rosa Lee
